Mozambique has received international recognition at the 2025 World Tourism Awards, where it was honoured for its achievements in sustainable tourism. The award underscores the nation’s ongoing efforts to promote responsible development and environmental stewardship.
At the same event, the Mozambican travel company Cotur was celebrated with an award for tourism entrepreneurship, highlighting its role in advancing the country’s presence on the global stage. The distinctions were announced during a prestigious ceremony in Brussels that brought together representatives from around the world.
